TREES- The Most Useful Largest Living Creature On Earth
Trees are the largest and longest living organisms on earth. Trees vary by size, structure, fruits, flowers, wood value and the like. But as a miracle, trees in reality grow as a complex chemical factory producing all the three forms of beneficial things for others: air, fluids, solids. Trees are able to take water and salts out of the earth and lift them up to leaves , sometimes over 400ft above. Some of the exceptional benefits derived from trees are:
As Provider |
As Protector from |
Supply oxygen required for breathing |
Suck carbondioxide |
Bring rainfall to earth |
Protect from ash, dust and pollen particles |
Provide foods for birds, wild animals and insects |
Absorb SO2, methane, No2 and chloroflurocarbons |
Refreshing shades in the sun |
Lower air temperatures |
Buried trees provide coal, gasoline, etc |
Protect from Rainfall in the rainy seasons |
Supply humidity in dry climates |
Act as earth cover in times of excessive rainfall |
Provide fruits, juices, medicinal contents, etc |
Act as earth cover in times of excessive heating up in summer |
Supply products-lumber for buildings and tools |
Slow down forceful winds in times of cyclones |
Supply cellulose for paper and fiber |
Cut noise pollution acting as barriers to sound |
Through roots help air get beneath the soil surface |
In the sea/ river bank, hold the soil and keep silt from washing into streams |
Beautify gardens and grace our backyards |
Break the monotony of endless sidewalks and miles of highways |
Provide woods for making furniture and tools ,etc |
Filter and hold storm water runoff |
Thus, trees are returning an almost infinite number of benefits and services for living other animals, especially for MAN and the Mother Earth. Wise persons say, “Trees are the lungs of the global environment ”
It is therefore, advised by our Great Prophet (SAW), “ If any one of you have a seedling/ sapling in one hand and come to know that tomorrow is the Dooms Day, he must not hesitate to carefully plant the same in the earth to grow.”
