The topic of research is considered very relevant in view if the scarcity of materials as not many research are known to have been done around the chosen field. The thesis is seen to have been organized in a systematic way. Chapter I stated the background of the study, statement of the problem besides objectives, review of literature and methodology of the study. Chapter II contains a comparative study of Conventional vs. Islamic Banking. In chapter III, the researcher presented the evaluation of the investment methods of Islamic banking. Chapter IV contains results and findings of the social welfare services of the Islamic bank. In Chapter V, the author examined the poverty reduction attempts of the Islamic Bank while in the last Chapter VI summary of the finding along with identified problems besides conclusions of the study are presented. |

The findings of the study showed that there was a changed of social life of the landless, marginal and small Farmer. The respondents became socially empowered and conscious. They were found to have accepted and practiced better health and sanitation behaviors as well. |
